Okay, so I really want a Xbox 360 because there are a few games that I’m really interested in. The first one being MORTAL KOMBAT *cue theme music here* because not only does it bring back great memories from my childhood, but it’s a kick-ass game. I still have yet to play the new one but I’m still really excited about it. Anyways, the other games I’m interested in would be Assassin’s Creed and Skyrim. I had originally seen my brother-in-law playing Assassin’s Creed and it’s just a beautiful game. It’s nothing what I would have expected of it which is amazing because the story is so much more in depth and not to mention, it’s this warped version of medieval times. Also Skyrim of the Elder Scrolls comes out this Friday and it sounds amazing as well. It’s more than just dragons and ass kicking… the game developers put a lot of thought into exactly what you could do in the game and what you’d want to do. Like if you just want to craft leather all day, you can. You aren’t forced to quest in this game. You can just explore. The Xbox bundle goes for $299 at Target, Mortal Kombat goes for $30 at Gamestop, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood is $25 on Amazon, and Skyrim (which will be the most expensive because it’s released on Friday) for $60 at Gamestop.

*Update* After doing a little more research for the thrifty people out there like me I found out that in the long run it would be cheaper to own a PS3 because you don’t have to pay to play online. Although the game console on Amazon doesn’t come with a fancy Kinect or a game you’d probably never play, it does come with a $50 gift card so that you can use it to buy other games… or even books! Whatever you want that they sell, actually. It’s $250 for the game console and the controller but totally worth it. Plus, all the games that I listed are available as well. Which is what I was worried about in the first place! Mortal Kombat on Ecrater for $35, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood on Amazon for $21.50, and Skyrim is $60 on Amazon with a $10 gift card. See? Amazon likes Ps3 more too! Haha..
